The origin
The story behind RAUS
RAUS is not a concept. It's a memory that has finally found words.
Wolfgang Tuppeck lost part of his childhood very early, when his father died. What followed wasn't primarily grief that could be voiced, but a period in which a child learned to function. Later, he spent part of his teenage years at a boarding school – a place with rules, structure, and little room for what was actually happening inside.
About this time
It was less an event than a state: a speechlessness that felt normal for years. Not because there was nothing there, but because for a long time there was no place where it could be said.
This experience isn't a dramatic story meant to be told for effect. It's the quiet ground from which a song could later grow. Between what a child experiences and what an adult can eventually sing, there is often a very long road – this song is part of it.
From inside to outside
The voice as a way out
What had long been only inner pressure eventually sought a form. Not a conversation, not an explanation – but breath, sound, and finally singing. The voice became the tool that could express something for which there had previously been no language.
RAUS grew out of this need: not to entertain an audience, but to finally be able to say a single word. From the wish to hear himself, a song emerged that can reach other people – without having been written for that purpose.
A term that needs clarity
Sung trauma work
Wolfgang describes his way of dealing with this story as “sung trauma work” – a personal, artistic way of processing what he has experienced.

The moment in the studio
RAUS was recorded at Mark Schwarzmayr's studio – BIG NOISE in a silent corner. A place where text, voice, and experience became a finished song, professionally guided and musically developed.
Wolfgang's personal experience
After the recording, Wolfgang described feeling lighter on his feet and breathing more freely. This is a personal perception in that one moment – not a medical effect, and not a claim about the health effects of singing in general.

From a previously developed visual idea, a complete 15-second promotional package in three formats emerged in about 30 minutes. What became visible was only a tiny fraction of something much bigger.
That's how long it took to turn a visual idea into a finished promotional package in three formats.
